Obituary of Shirley Emma Vincent

Shirley Emma Vincent, beloved wife of fifty years of Dennis Vincent of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at the age of 71 years. Shirley was born in Toronto, ON, and moved with her husband Dennis from Regina to Calgary in 1968. Shirley was an avid supporter of many animal protection and rights groups and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Shirley recently celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary with Dennis. Besides her loving husband Dennis, Shirley is remembered by two daughters and sons-in-law, Loren and Ken Barge of Calgary and Janine and Tom Fontaine of Australia; and nine grandchildren, Michael, Trista, Theresa, John, Elizabeth, Maria, Genis, Devan, and Megan. She is also survived by her brother Tom Ball and was predeceased by her daughter Susan Thompson; and her sisters Lorraine Marsh and Betty Macleod.
