Obituary of Marion Audrey Fuenning

Rey Fuenning passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 11, 2006. Rey was born in Yorkton Saskatchewan, and through the years lived in Medicine Hat, Edmonton, Toronto, Boston, Denver and Calgary. She graduated in Home Economics from the University of Alberta and worked for several years as a dietician. Family was Rey’s priority and she was a devoted and caring wife, a loving and steadfast mother and a “super” grandmother. She loved being with people, and family and friends alike will always remember her welcoming home, amazing meals and grand parties. Rey enjoyed gardening, reading and golfing and was proficient in many handicrafts, most recently weaving with the Sheep Creek Weavers. She was an active member at both the Glencoe Club and Canyon Meadows Golf Club. Rey will be deeply missed by her husband of 51 years, Paul; her children Patricia (Scott), Charles (Monique) and Robert (Liza); her grandchildren Matthew, Paul, Ashby, Lauren, Derek, Nicholas and Lana; and many nieces and nephews.
