Obituary of Beverley Innes

Beverley Innes (nee Herrington), beloved wife of Andrew Innes, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the age of 72 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley. She was born in Ottawa, December 4, 1933, moved to Vancouver in 1952 where she met and married Andrew in 1953 and moved to Calgary. Here she raised her family with dedication. Beverley believed in volunteering her time wherever necessary, took in foster children, was a member of the FOE and in the later years loved to meet her many friends in Palm Springs. Beverley is survived by Andrew, her loving husband of fifty-three years; her children, Karen (Blair), Brian (Dale), Drew (Leslee), Pam (Pat); her five grandchildren, Stacie, Jaclyn, Andrew, Patrick and Kevin; one great-grandchild, Katarina; two sisters, Carol Kern and Audrey (John) Young of Connecticut, and brother-in-law McKay (Myrtle) Innes of Nanaimo. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff and volunteers of the Rosedale Hospice for their special and compassionate care.
