Obituary of Kathleen Anderson

Kathleen “Kiki” Anderson passed away on Sunday October 15, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Kiki was born on January 4, 1921 in Saskatoon, SK, and moved to Calgary as a small child. Here in Calgary she pursued a nursing career until her marriage to Gordon in 1947. Kiki was an active member of both the Glencoe Club and the Calgary Golf and Country Club. She loved to spend time with her family at their summer home on Shuswap Lake. Kiki was greatly loved by many and will be dearly missed. Kiki is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ken and Susan Anderson; daughter and son-in-law Barbara and David Hames, both of Calgary; grandchildren, Jordan Anderson of Toronto, Craig Anderson of Vancouver, Kari Beermann (Peter) of Calgary, Jennifer Hames of Vancouver and Lindsay Hames of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2000; and brothers Allistair and Mack Low. A Celebration of Kiki’s Life will be held at the Calgary Golf and Country Club (one and a half blocks west of Elbow Drive on 50th Avenue S.W.) on Thursday October 19, 2006, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
