Obituary of Richard Thompson

Richard “Roy” Thompson, beloved husband of Vera Thompson of Calgary, passed peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday October 10, 2006 at the age of 62 years. Besides his loving wife Vera, Roy is remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Liz and Kevin Evens; brothers Noel (Elsie) of Belfast, Northern Ireland and Jack(Lorraine) of Manchester, England; sister Sadie (Bob Peachey) of Ballymena, Northern Ireland; sister-in-law Marguerite Johnston of Edmonton, AB; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Richard and Elizabeth. A Celebration of Roy’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday October 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
