Obituary of Michael Joseph Wilhelm

Mike Wilhelm passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 10, 2006 while on vacation in Ottawa Ontario. Born in Swift Current SK, on June 26, 1935, Mike spent five years with the Royal Canadian Navy before meeting his wife Barbara and settling in Calgary in 1959. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, scuba diving, sailing and camping. Mike was a family man whose integrity, character and wisdom will be held closely in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. Mike will be greatly missed by his wife of forty-seven years, Barbara; their children Michael, MaryBeth and David; their spouses Beatrice, Andrew and Annette; and five grandsons, Nathan, Matthew, Cameron, Steven and Daniel. He was predeceased by his parents Bessie and Albert; and his beloved younger brothers David and Donald.
