Obituary of Carol Ann Uhersky

Carol Ann Uhersky, beloved wife of Gordon Uhersky of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the age of 62 years. Carol was born on September 1, 1944 in Woking, England, and immigrated to Canada the following year. After her marriage to Gord in 1965, they lived and travelled throughout the world, settling in Calgary in 1971. Carol always put others ahead of herself. She was very big on occasions, especially Christmas, and never forgot a birthday. Her passions included travelling to Cancun, and her ceramic classes with her “buddies.” Carol’s zest for life, and warm and generous spirit will always be remembered. Besides her loving husband of forty-one years, Carol is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Denny Brooks; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Glen Robinson, and Ken and Cathy Robinson and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Ken and Winnie Robinson. A Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
