Obituary of Aileen Kerr

Aileen Kerr of Calgary, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2006 at the age of 84 years. Aileen was born on January 28, 1922, in Waterhole, Alberta, and grew up in the Peace River Country. She moved to Calgary in 1968. Aileen enjoyed playing bridge, working in her garden and her pet dogs. She also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Aileen is remembered by three children; Ron (Linda) Proctor of Worsley, AB, Sharon (Nick) Cowles, and Gail (Bob) Williamson, both of Calgary; eight grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters; Hazel (Alex), and Olive (Bernie), and one brother; Rodney (Bev), and a sister-in-law Mary, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her 1st husband Melvin Proctor, and her 2nd husband Stan Kerr, as well as her infant son Gary, and her brother Sherman. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, October, 13, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
