Obituary of Nelson Clinton Stuart Watson

Nelson Clinton Stuart Watson beloved husband of sixty-seven years of Minnie of Cochrane passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Nelson enjoyed painting cartoon characters, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a devoted husband and father and a proud tradesman. Nelson was a volunteer firefighter in Redwood Meadows, and a member of the Redwood Meadows and Springbank Seniors Centres. He resided at the Bethany Care Centre in Cochrane for the last two and a half years. Besides his loving wife, Nelson is survived by his children, Wayne and Cheri Watson, of Camrose, AB Sharon Barrette, of Windsor, ON, and Bruce and Brenda Watson, of Springbank, AB; as well as eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Nelson was predeceased by his son-in-law Richard Barrette.
