Obituary of Maria Sixta Lehmann

Maria Sixta Lehmann (nee Dassler) of Calgary passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Maria was born on October 18, 1925 in Erlangen, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1955 with her husband and two sons Harry and Peter. They lived in Calgary until moving to Kelowna, BC in 1974, returning to Calgary in 1989 following Richard’s passing. Maria is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law Peter and Rita, of Taber, AB and Harry and Irmgart, of Calgary, AB; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Karin Michali, Gunda Schüssler and Hilde Weisse, all of Germany. Maria was predeceased by her husband Richard Lehmann.
