Obituary of Violet McCubbin

Vi McCubbin of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Father Lacombe Care Centre on Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Vi was born in Wynyard, SK on August 4, 1914. Vi is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Ruth McCubbin, and Kenneth and Dianne McCubbin; grandchildren, Sandra McCubbin (Mitch Hart), Debbie McCubbin, Kevin McCubbin, and Rhonda (Dylan) Roth; great grandchildren, Stephanie McCubbin and Jack Roth; sisters, Kathleen Ellison and Shirley (Clarence) Jackson; sister-in-law Dora Collins; and brother-in-law Karl Sundquist. She was predeceased by her husband Wes McCubbin; brothers, John Collins and Norman Collins; and by her sisters, Margaret Tarry and Mable Sundquist. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Bill Ruckdashel, Presider.
