Obituary of Ladislav Simecek

Les passed away at the age of 58 with his loving wife by his side at the Sarcee Hospice on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, following a courageous battle with cancer. Along with his wife Marcella, Les will be forever remembered by numerous members of his blended family including his children Dominik (Simone), Nadja (Sohan), all of Switzerland, Andrea (Adam) of Calgary, and his little ray of sunshine, granddaughter Hailey also of Calgary. His mother Agnesa and in-laws Ivan and Zdena Novotny; his sister Lenka; nephews Ivan and Martin Sokol and both of their families and numerous friends also survive him. His beloved dog Nikki will also miss him. Les was predeceased by his father Anton(Ladislav). We will all forever miss and cherish his wonderful sense of humour. A Celebration of Les’s life will be held at McInnis and Holloway’s Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road SE) on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 2:30pm.
