Obituary of Joan Henzel

Joan Henzel (Bembenek), adored wife of Bob and precious mother of Christine Henzel of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the age of 60 years. Throughout her thirty-six years of marriage, Joan provided a home filled with love and joy for Bob and Christine. Joan’s compassion and consideration for others is best described by the words of Mother Teresa, “We can do no great things, only small things with great love.” Given her devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, it was appropriate that she was called home to her Heavenly Father on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. “Rest in Peace, Sweet One” Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E.) on Thursday, October 12, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Rev. Gregory Coupal VF, Presider. Graveside Service to follow in the Holy Family Cemetery at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
