Obituary of Margrett A. Cruse

Margrett Cruse of Calgary passed away on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Margrett was a loving and caring person, yet strong and independent. She imparted these same values to her children who have benefited greatly from them. She was married to Bert for sixty-one years. Theirs was a strong and devoted relationship where they put each other first and were able to weather many storms. Margrett took great pride in her work helping others. She had a small but very close circle of friends. Her passions were music and animals. Margrett is survived by her son Bill Cruse of Cambridge, England; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sheila Holland of Winnipeg, MB, Shirley and Al Pivec of Priddis, AB; four grandchildren, Kathleen, Andrea, Wayne, and Vern; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Bert in 2003.
