Obituary of Shirley Trodden

Shirley Trodden beloved wife of Stan Troden of Airdrie, passed away on Sunday October 1, 2006 at the age of 59 years. Shirley was born on December 11, 1946 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and in 1963 she married Stan. They then moved to Airdrie in 1973 where she worked as a secretary for the Living Spirit Christian Fellowship Church in Airdrie, for 20 years. She had a great faith in the Lord, and she always placed others first, lending a helping hand when ever needed. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, hiking, and being outdoors. She especially loved her family and grandchildren. Besides her loving husband Stan, Shirley is also survived by her three daughters and son-in-law; Sherry Jenkins, Cindy McKinnon, and Shelley and Gerry Forbes; her grandchildren, Christopher and Jennifer Jenkins, and Tylor and Jesse McKinnon; her mother Amelia Gold; and mother-in-law Lenora Trodden-Blore. She is also survived by her brother and sister, Ken and Maureen Gold, and Judith Springer; as well as several nieces and nephews.
