Obituary of Michael Tataryn

Michael passed away peacefully at the Agape Hospice on Sept 29, 2006 with his beloved wife Sylvia at his side, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer since last June. Michael was born on April 20, 1946 in Swan Plain, SK. After graduation, Michael moved to Winnipeg for a year and a half. He then moved to Regina in 1967 where he worked for Ipsco Steel until moving to Calgary in November 1974. In April 1975, Michael started with Prudential Steel, and retired in April 2005 after 30 years of employment. Michael will be lovingly remembered by Sylvia, his soulmate and wife of 36 years; and his son, and greatest pride, Jeff (Gina) and an angel on the way. He will also be missed by his grandmother Sophie; his parents John and Mary; sister Cynthia (Ernie); brothers Steve, and Kelvin (Laura); nieces Delaney, Brittney, Amanda, Michelle (Allan); and great niece Madeline. Michael will also be remembered by Aunts, Uncles, and friends, and especially by his beloved pet Missy. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (5552 Madigan Drive N.E.) on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Long Vu, Presider.
