Obituary of Blanche Nicolson

With mixed emotions we announce the peaceful passing of Blanche Nicolson on Friday, September 22, 2006 at Bethany Harvest Hills after a long struggle with dementia. Blanche was born in Regina, moved to Calgary as a child and lived here the rest of her life. She enjoyed working for Loram International and her many volunteer positions. Blanche will be remembered by her family, Paddy (Terry) Farhall, Virginia (Bill) Crawford, and Dick (Anita) Nicolson; six grandchildren, Leanne (Stephen) Dickinson, Grant Farhall, Shauna (George) Crawford, Michelle (David) Johnston, Darren (Lori) Crawford, and Matthew (Crystal) Crawford; as well as four great grandchildren, Nicole Dickinson, Justine and Holly Dyker (Crawford) and Blane Johnston. Blanche is also survived by her brother Richard (Jean) Bingley and family. Blanche was predeceased by her husband John in 1968. Blanche attended Christ Church in Elbow Park where a family service was held on Tuesday, September 26. 2006. Interment at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
