Obituary of Eleanor Ann Johnson

Eleanor Ann Johnson (nee Macdonald) of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Eleanor was born on January 17, 1928 in Calgary, AB. She met George Johnson in Red Deer, AB and they were married in Calgary in 1952. Eleanor was an avid reader and enjoyed playing Duplicate Bridge, she curled for many years and was an enthusiastic sports fan, especially of the Calgary Flames and Stampeder’s. She loved to be with her grandchildren and was very proud of all her families’ accomplishments. Eleanor is survived by her children James and Linda Johnson, Gerald Johnson, Gail and Kurt Boldt, all of Calgary, and Brian and Jan Johnson of Airdrie, AB. She is also survived by her grandchildren Sarah, Eric, Kevin and Lee. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband George, her brother Webster, and her parents Howard and Ella Macdonald.
