Obituary of Miriam Zavadzki

Miriam Zavadzki of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at the age of 73 years. Miriam was born in Budapest, Hungary on April 22, 1933 and immigrated to Canada in 1948. She resided in Regina, SK and was an active member of the Regina Jewish Community, including Hadassah WIZO. In 1997, both her and her husband, Jack, decided to move to Calgary to be with her family. Miriam is the loving mother of Gale and Jeff Bleviss and Lisa and Greg Kajuk; as well as the grandmother of Justen and Jaden. She also leaves to mourn her brother and sister-in-law, David and Sylvia Bereskin; as well as many relatives and friends. Miriam was predeceased by her husband, Jack; and daughter, Rosella. Funeral Services will be held at the Jewish Memorial Chapel, (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.) today, September 28, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at 37th Street Cemetery (North East Corner of Highway 22X & 37th Street S.W.).
