Obituary of Harriet Smith

Harriet Hazel Smith (nee Schonert) of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Harriet was born in Bismark, ND. She married James A. Smith in 1941. They lived happily together in Texas, South America, California and then settled in Calgary in 1951. Harriet is survived by a son, Harrison Smith of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Eric Burns of Hesperia, CA and Thayer and Tom Head of Airdrie, AB; three grandchildren, James Pasieka of Hesperia, CA, Sarah Head and her fiancé Bill Fisher of Calgary and Stephanie Head of Edmonton, AB. She is also survived by three sisters Marian Morris and Inez Baker, both of Bismark, ND, and Irene Beatt of St. Paul, MN; as well as her nieces and nephews. Harriet was predeceased by her husband, Jim, in August of 1991. A Private Family Service will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
