Obituary of Frank Kouwenhoven

Frank Kouwenhoven, beloved husband of Mrs. Els Kouwenhoven of Calgary, passed away on September 20, 2006, at the age of 70 years. Born in The Hague, Holland on November 4, 1935, Frank immigrated to Calgary in 1954. He married Els Van Der Kaay in 1956 and they lived in Calgary the rest of their lives. Frank was in retail sales and his greatest passions were his family, golf and people. He loved life, never had a single enemy and was always the life of the party. Besides his loving wife, Frank is remembered by his daughter and son-in-law Deanne and Leroy and their children David and Steven; his son and daughter-in-law Mike and Billie and their children Cooper, Trai and Bailey; and son and daughter-in-law Scott and Julie and their daughter Rebecca. He is also survived by many family members overseas. A Celebration of Life will be held at Elbow Springs Golf Club (240086 Lott Creek Boulevard, Calgary Telephone: (403) 246-2800) on Monday, October 2, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. In honour of Frank, the family requests that bright colors be worn.
