Auntie Rose’s memory will be cherished by a large circle of relatives and friends, including her four-legged friends. We will miss the card games, phone calls, “Pot of Gold” chocolates, and of course the birthday cards that arrived faithfully the week before your “special day”. Rose was devoted to her loving husband, Clifford Balsdon, who predeceased her in 1984; she was also predeceased by her mother and father, Louisa “Ma” and Stephen Payne; her sister Winnifred “Winnie”; and her brothers Stephen and Albert Payne. “Your good life will be lived in many persons” A Private Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2006. In lieu of flowers pleases consider giving “flowers for the living” by donating to your favourite charity, Rose was a frequent contributor to many charities, among her favourites were the SPCA and the World Wildlife Fund.
