Obituary of Janette Elizabeth LUNDY

November 25, 1956 – Calgary, Alberta April 12, 2019 – Miami, Florida Jan Lundy, of Calgary, AB, passed away on April 12, 2019 at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her 3 children, Allan Sharman, Danielle Chapman (Brennan) and Ken Sharman; grandson, Beau; her siblings Laurie, Bob, Kathryn, and Bruce as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jan is joining her parents, Barry & Shelagh Lundy in heaven as well as all her ‘fur babies’. As an incredible quilter and having a keen eye for detail, Jan was able to create astonishing masterpieces in both quilts and floral design. Her sewing courses and instructor certifications gave her the gift of many friendships as well as creating a new passion of travelling in recent years. Jan was an avid animal lover; she spent countless hours volunteering with the SPCA. She generously welcomed any furry critter into her heart and home. She will be remembered for her compassionate and giving nature. A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Deerfoot South, , Calgary, AB) on Friday, May 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
