Obituary of Louise Irene Worden

Louise Worden of Okotoks, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2006 at the age of 80 years. Louise was born on September 9, 1926 in Clavet, SK where she was raised and educated. During WWII, Louise served with the RCAF and was stationed in Winnipeg and Calgary. Following the War she moved to Alberta. Louise enjoyed a very long career as a realtor in Calgary and Okotoks. During her retirement years, Louise enjoyed travelling to Alaska and many parts of Europe. Her favourite vacations were taking each of her four grandchildren to Disneyland when they turned nine. Louise will be remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Gloria Black of Okotoks; daughter Pam McIntyre of Okotoks; four grandchildren, Tammy McIntyre, Shannon Black, Becky (Dwight) Wigemyr and Dean (Carolyn) Black; and three great grandchildren, Denton, Devin and Brandt. She was predeceased by her parents, Dora and Clarence McLeod; and by her three brothers, Francis, Roy and Gordon McLeod. A private family graveside service will be held.
