Obituary of Mike Zurawell

Mike Zurawell, beloved husband of Dolores Niederhaus of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Mike was born on November 13, 1930 in Vegreville, AB. He joined the military with the PPCLI in 1950, and served for twenty years retiring as a Sergeant in 1970. Mike later enjoyed a bus driving career with Red Arrow for eighteen years, from where he retired in 1995. Besides his loving wife Dolores, Mike is remembered by his four sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Susan Zurawell, Gordon and Linda Zurawell, Raymond and Helene Zurawell, all of Calgary, and Philip and Theresa Zurawell of Oakville, ON; one daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Robert Goldyn of Vancouver, BC; and twelve grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law Steve and Louise Zurawell; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nellie and Harry Olinick and Mary and Nick Bondarevich, all of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was predeceased by his parents Nick and Annie Zurawell.
