Obituary of Matthew James Brodner
Matthew (Matt) James Brodner of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly and tragically on September 14, 2006 at the age of 21 years.
Matt loved life in the great outdoors; mountain climbing and snowboarding were among his passions. A student at Mount Royal College, he was very enthusiastic regarding his scholastic career. Matt was such a gentle person and will be very much missed by everyone he knew.
Matt will be lovingly remembered by his parents Larson and Trudy; brother Alex; grandparents Katherina Prohaska and Joseph Prohaska; aunt and uncle Rose and Greg Humniski; aunt and uncle Susan and Joe Prohaska; cousins Julie (Don), Kelsey (Carmen), Jeremy, Dara, and Bianca; as well as many second and third cousins on the Brodner side. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Emily and Chris Brodner.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday September 20, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
