Obituary of Peter Kutney

Peter Ray Kutney, beloved husband of Irene Kutney, of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Peter lived life to the fullest and travel was a passion he and his loving wife Irene thoroughly enjoyed. He was born in Lethbridge, AB and graduated from the University of Alberta with a degree in Chemical Engineering. During the course of his career he was President and CEO of Coseka Resources and of Wharf Resources. Peter had a very successful and rewarding career following that as a director in many oil and gas and mining corporations. Peter is survived by his wife Irene; his son Peter Kutney, Jr. of Vancouver, BC; his daughters, Sandra Roberts of San Francisco and Cynthia Trueblood, currently teaching in Muscat, Oman. He is also survived by two sisters, Tilley Shackleford of Lethbridge, AB and Mary Peterson of Bremerton, WA as well as five grandsons. A Private Funeral Service will be held at McInnis and Holloway’s Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, September 16, 2006.
