Obituary of William John Harman

Bill Harman, beloved husband of Muriel of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2006 at the age of 78 years. Bill was born on January 20, 1928 in Regina, SK, and moved to Calgary in 1960. He worked in the oil and gas industry and retired from Gulf Oil. Bill loved gardening and enjoyed relaxing with his pipe. His favourite saying, ‘good to go’, will be fondly remembered by his family. Besides his loving wife of fifty-eight years, Bill is survived by his two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan Harman (Robin) of Vancouver and Wendy Dobos (Jerry) of Calgary; two granddaughters Lisa Kowalski and Jennifer Dobos; and two great grandchildren Cody and Cassidy Kowalski all of Calgary. He is also survived by two sisters Vera Baguley of Regina, SK and Tax Cottons of Seattle WA; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brother Alf Harman. A Gathering will be held at the family residence on Saturday, September 16, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
