Obituary of Kim Luong
Kim Luong, beloved wife of the late Cuong Chau, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the age of 67 years.
Kim was born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where she met and married Cuong Chau. Together, they ran a very successful baking and retail business. They lived a very joyful life with their six sons and three daughters until the Vietnam War. Looking for a better life after the political change in Vietnam, the entire family immigrated to Calgary in 1985. Kim, with her family, hard work, determination and dedication, started a baking business in Calgary’s Chinatown. Their business quickly prospered and grew to a highly successful baking and frozen food enterprise. Their products are shipped across Canada and the United States and have earned a reputation of very high quality. Kim was very hands on with her businesses and worked hard all her life. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
Kim is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis (Angela), Johnny, Nelson (Sandy), Jimmy (Colleen), Randy (Wendy), and Thomas; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna, Jenny (Sam) and Maidie (Frank); grandchildren, Cecillia, Karson, Kristy, Kaly, Joshua, Brandon, and Kobe.
