Obituary of Estelle Dolena Dodd

Estelle Dolena Dodd, of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the Brentwood Nursing Home on Sunday, September 3, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Estelle devoted her life to family, her community and the church. Her family was blessed with her optimistic attitude and loving ways. Estelle taught school for many years and operated the Dodd’s General Store with her husband in Madden, AB. Her great joy was serving and participating in the Madden Community. Estelle will be lovingly remembered by her son Norman; her daughter and son-in-law Joyce and Ken Schultz; and her grandchildren Rob and Catherine. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Jessie and Jim Hamilton and her nieces Margaret Hamilton and Joan and her husband Larry Cairns; and nephews Ian and Neil Sword. Estelle was predeceased by her husband Bob in 1987 and grandson David in 1985. A Celebration of Estelle’s Life will be held at the Crossfield United Church (1005 Ross Street, Crossfield, AB) on Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
