Obituary of Edna Addeman

Edna Mae Addeman of Calgary passed away on Monday August 28, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Edna was born on February 1, 1916 in Mantario Saskatchewan. She farmed with her husband Jack in Blackie Alberta, and then moved to Calgary in 1959. She had a long career with Betty Shop’s as a manager, and then retired in 1981. Edna was an independent and meticulous person, who enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She was a devoted mother, and grandmother who loved to care for her family, home, neighbourhood, and community. She was also an active member of the Sunnyside Go Getters for many years. Edna is remembered by her son Brian, and her granddaughter Samantha, both of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother Alan (Charlotte) Ritchie of Victoria; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Jack (1954); six brothers and two sisters.
