Obituary of Lorna Jane Stewart

Jane Stewart of Calgary, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday August 27, 2006, surrounded by the love of her family. Jane is survived by her beloved husband Don; her sons Michael (Tara), and David; and her three grandchildren, Mack, Avery and Bryn. She is also survived by her brother Rick (Janet) Simonton; sister Jody (Ian) Thumlert; and the Stewart brothers-in-law, George (Ellen), Peter, David (Ruth) and Duncan (Sue); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jane was predeceased by her mother Emily Love; father Joe Simonton; mother-in-law Helen Stewart; and father-in-law Garfield Stewart. Jane will be remembered for her grace, compassion for other people, strength of character and beautiful soul. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Jane’s life on Thursday August 31, 2006, at 2:30 p.m., in the Palomino Room at the Round-Up Centre, Stampede Park.
