Obituary of Sabina Andreychuk

Sabina “Stella” Andreychuk of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2006 at the age of 81 years. Stella was born on December 29, 1924 in Calgary and resided in Riverside and North Hill all her life. She married John Andreychuk on October 16, 1943. Stella was employed as a seamstress with Westmont Manufacturing who manufactured Men’s and Ladies Western Garments. She later joined another western wear company, Caravan Manufacturing Ltd., where she was a seamstress and a supervisor, from here she retired in 1983. Stella enjoyed gardening, her flowers, and giving special care to her grandson Darren when he was a child. Stella will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Paulette; grandson Darren; as well as her sister and brother-in-law, Molly and George Michalenko. She was predeceased by her husband John, on August 3, 1993; her parents, Nicholas and Pauline Polataiko; two brothers, Walter and Mike Polataiko; and by her two sisters, Victoria Karpuk and Jean Krakiwsky.
