Obituary of Forrest Ka-Hung Li

Forrest Ka-Hung Li was taken from us suddenly in the early morning on Friday, August 25, 2006 at the age of 51 years. Forrest was born on July 5, 1955 in Hong Kong, to Sing Lurk Lee and Lin Ng. He immigrated to Canada at the age of 19 and graduated from the University of Calgary in 1980 with a degree in Geography. Throughout his career Forrest ventured into many areas, managing and owning different enterprises, from restaurants to pet stores. Always known for his love of food, both dining out and preparing meals at home, his family and friends will miss his cooking dearly. Forrest’s idea of a perfect day was relaxing at home with his family and his dog Tux. He is immensely loved and will be truly missed. Forrest is survived by his wife Pat of twenty-four years; his children Shawn and Stacey; his brother Edmond and two sisters Vivian and Seraphina. He was predeceased by his father. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, September 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Services to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
