Obituary of Peter J. Petts

Mr. Peter J. Petts, beloved husband of Vanda Petts of Calgary, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at the age of 58 years. Peter was born October 3, 1947 in Folkestone, Kent, England. He served for nine years with the British Armed Forces then came to Canada August 24, 1974. The following month he married Vanda Geissler (nee Pearson). During their almost thirty-two years together, they would raise three children. Peter was a very private person. Outside of work, Peter’s main focus was his family. He will be lovingly remembered. Besides his loving wife Vanda, Peter is survived by his sons, Jerry, Shawn, and Danny. He is also survived by his sisters, Betty, and Pat and their families; brothers, Victor and Ron and their families, all of England. Peter was predeceased by his parents; and sisters, Sheila and Ivy.
