Obituary of Olga Murray-Lowrie

Olga Murray-Lowrie passed away peacefully on the evening of August 19, 2006, at the Mayfair Care Centre. Olga was born in 1919 in Duba, Austria, the daughter of John and Martha Hucal. She bravely lived a challenging and independent life, having worked multiple jobs in the food service and other retail sectors and achieved financial security. The values of hard work were important to Olga. Olga was known for her strong spirit, her determination and sense of humour. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her son and daughter-in-law Jim and Jean Koziak of Toronto, ON; her daughter Shirley Daniels of Sacramento, CA; daughter-in-law Marnie Murray; her brother Mike (Jean) Hucal of Red Deer, AB; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and her dear friend Malcolm Harvey. She was the wife of Max Koziak, Jack Murray and Don Lowrie. Olga was predeceased by her husbands; her son Ron Murray; four brothers and three sisters; and son-in-law, Richard Daniels. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (5340 – 4th Street S.W.) on Friday August 25, 2006, at 10:30 A.M., with Rev.
