Obituary of Pearl Nestoruk

Pearl Nestoruk of Mayfair Care Centre passed away on Sunday August 20, 2006, at the age of 97 years. Pearl was born in Raith, AB, later known as Royal Park, on June 12, 1909. She married Peter in 1927 and lived in Vegreville, AB until her move to Calgary in 1982. Pearl’s interests other than her family were the United Church Ladies Aid, I.O.D.E., the Progressive Conservative Party, physical fitness and her showcase garden. Pearl is survived by her son Peter Daniel of Calgary; three grandchildren, Peter Richard (Tracey) of Victoria, Carol (Rudy) of Germany, and Jillian; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and also her brother Alec Pawliuk of Vegreville. She was predeceased by her husband Peter in 1978; her sister Mary and Catherine; her brothers John, Nick, Steve, Harry and Mike. At Pearl’s request there will be no service.
