Obituary of Charles Linney

Charles Walker “Chuck” Linney passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the age of 86 years at the Bethany Care Centre with his wife Dorothy by his side. Chuck was born February 13, 1920 in Golden, BC. He loved the mountains, camping, fishing, boating and wild game hunting. He belonged to the Golden Legion Branch # 122 since 1953 and Army Navy Air force Alexander of Tunis #2. Chuck worked thirty years as a steam fitter and belonged to the Local Union 496. Chuck will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Dorothy and his sons Darryl Bryan (Iris) and James Brent (Lorraine); granddaughter Kristina Rae and grandson Charles Bryce who he loved so .much and was so proud of. He was predeceased by his father James, mother Janet, his brother John and his sisters Gladys and Joey. A Celebration of Chuck’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
