Obituary of Cornelia Magdalena Maat

Cora Maat of Calgary passed away on Wednesday August 16, 2006 at the age of 83 years. Cora was born on October 21, 1922 in Vlaardingen, Holland. She immigrated to Canada in 1956. Cora was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and a devoted member of the Grace Presbyterian Church. She was a caring Christian person always giving from the heart. Her favourite pastimes were baking and cooking for everyone, as well as painting, knitting, and crocheting. Cora is remembered lovingly by her six children, Simone, David, Jack, Marlene, Johanna, and Agnes; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Mies; and numerous other relatives in Holland. A Celebration of Cora’s life will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church on Thursday August 24, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Victor Kim Presider. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
