Obituary of Patrick Gerald Kingston

It is with great sadness that the family of Patrick Kingston announce his passing on August 12, 2006 at the age of 75 years. Pat was the beloved husband of Sheila, a very devoted family man and was extremely proud of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren. He was born in Chatham, NB and came from a family of eight. He began his career in 1949 with the RCMP, then in 1956 to Suncor Energy in Calgary, AB as an Oil Scout and retiring as a Landman in 1988. Pat moved to Waiparous in 1990, and volunteered much of his time with various organizations. Besides his loving wife, Pat is survived by his children and their spouses Gary and Judy, Dan and Lana all of Nanaimo, BC, Sheri and Phil Anderson of Edmonton, AB and Shawn and his fiancÚe Katie of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren, Ben, Ali, Sarah, Kelsi, and Chase; and one great-grandson Landon. He is also survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law Dan and Noel of Chilliwack, BC, Sam and Audrey of Courtney, BC and Jack and Annette of Abbotsford, BC; and one sister and brother-in-law Mary and Keith Wilson of Ontario. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (404 – 4th Avenue North, Cochrane, AB) on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Frederick Monk, Presider.
