Obituary of Jose Vallejos

VALLEJOS ? Rev. Jose Rodrigo Rev. Jose Rodrigo Vallejos beloved husband of Corina Vallejos of Calgary, passed away on August 14, 2006. Jose was born in Valdivia, Chile arriving in Canada in 1975 from Chile, South America. Jose came to Calgary in 1977, where he founded the 1st Spanish Christian Church. After over 40 years of serving the Lord as a pastor Jose retired in 2005. Jose loved to enjoy his spare time camping and being outdoors. He especially loved his family, and adored his grandchildren. Besides his loving wife Corina he is remembered by his children, Rodrigo and Veronica, Vivian and Carlos, Joseph and Claudia, Marco and Anna, Marcelo, Juan Carlos and Jaime, all of Calgary; his grandchildren Rodrigo, Vivian, Alexandra, Carla, Jacqueline, Carlos Jr., Ariel, Camila, Jessica and Marco Jr. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jorge and Ruth of Edmonton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lydia and Roberto, of Spain, Celestina, Zoila and Eduardo, of Chile. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY?S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday August 18, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Jorge Vallejos and Rev Carlos Vera Presiding.
