Obituary of Marguerite Fraser

Marguerite Fraser passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the age of 93 years. Marguerite was born in Paris, ON. She moved to Toronto and later to Calgary where she worked for C.P.R. She was very involved in her church and volunteer work and enjoyed golf. Marguerite will be dearly missed by her sisters, Ruth Cruickshank of Calgary and Joy Stewart of Deer Isle, Maine. She was predeceased by her husband Harry in 1981 and her sister Dorothy Mair and brother Edward Bringloe. Marguerite will also be missed by many nieces and nephews with whom she was in close contact with, Dick Mair, Carol Thomas, Jim Bringloe, Jessie Walter, Jeremy and Jock Stewart and their families as well as the extended Fraser family. A special thanks to Linda and Mark Thomas and Holly Mair. Her positive attitude and wonderful sense of fun and humour will be remembered by her many friends and family. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 2:30 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff of Agape Hospice for the excellent care and support given to Marguerite.
