Obituary of Margaret Helen Exton
Margaret Exton, beloved wife of Brian of Calgary, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the age of 73 years.
Marg was born in Winnipeg, MB on August 4, 1933. She was an active volunteer for the Lougheed House, the Arthritis Society, Operation Eyesight, St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, the Glenbow Museum and Fort Calgary. Despite Marg’s physical restrictions, she managed to nourish and maintain relationships with both her family and friends.
Besides her loving husband Brian, Marg is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Trish (Craeg) Exton-Parder, and their children, Allison, Janine and Jordin; and by her daughter Barbara Exton and her children Michael, Bryan and Marcus Williams, all of Calgary. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Aileen Pawling, of Winnipeg, MB; and her nieces, Cheryl (Ron), Joanne (Trent) and Leslie. Marg was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Amber.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church (1121 – 14th Avenue S.W.) on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Graham S. Goode, Presider.
