Obituary of Rosa Valente

Rosa Valente of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2006 with her family by her side at the age of 85 years. Rosa was born on March 31, 1921 in Spezano Sila P. Cosenza, Italy, and immigrated to Canada on November 19, 1962 to join her family and start a new life. She was survived by her brother and sister-in-law Vincenzo and Antonia Valente, and one sister Fiorina Valente from France. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, Italy, France and Switzerland. Rosa was predeceased by her parents, sisters Teresa Aiello, Anna Valente, and brothers, Antonio, Salvatore and Luigi Valente.
