Obituary of Florence Lusk
D. Florence (Flo) Lusk of Airdrie passed away peacefully at home with grace and dignity on Monday, July 31, 2006 at the age of 79 years.
Flo was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. On October 21, 1950, Flo married Len Lusk. Shortly after, they settled in LaRonge, SK where they raised their family for twenty years. Flo and Len retired to the West Coast, where Flo took up breeding and racing thoroughbred horses. In 1990 Len passed away soon after they had celebrated their fortieth wedding anniversary.
Flo is survived by her son Ed Lusk of Vernon, BC; two daughters and sons-in-law Brenda and Phil Nord of Sparwood, BC and Patti and Pat Rice of Airdrie, AB; four grandchildren, Andrew and Melissa Nord, and Caitlin and Aidan Rice. She is also survived by two brothers Lawrence (Gladys) Hardman, and Leonard Hardman; and two sisters Valerie (Barry) Shankoff and Faye Thomas; two brothers-in-law Ron (Helen) Lusk, and Ken (Vivian) Lusk; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Flo was predeceased by her husband Len and her daughter Janet.
Flo?s urn will be brought to Victory Memorial Park in Surrey, BC where she will join Len and Janet. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
