Hello, Not sure if anyone will still get this as it has been over 6 years since the passing of Frances. I recently received a book from my estranged father of 20 years. It is a poetry book called ‘Tapestry’ by Frances Laing White. It belonged to my grandmother
Mae Noland who passed away about 35 years ago from cancer. Inside is a message inscribed “To Mae Noland with best wishes and in happy memory of our pleasant friendship, Frances L. White Aug. 10, 1942”. My mothers name was Frances. She also passed away from cancer 22 years ago. I can’t help but wonder if my mother was named after my Grandmothers friend Frances. Just started researching online to see what I can learn about Frances Laing White. My mother was very special to me and so any connection is meaningful to me.
Just wanted to put this out their to anyone listening or into the universe.
