Obituary of Dorothy Jorgensen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at the age of 82 years after a courageous battle with cancer at the Agape Hospice.
Dorothy was a Heritage Member of the Calgary Winter Club, an avid bowler, and enjoyed all her friends at the plus 55 club. She also loved bingo, the casino and playing cards. Dot was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.
Dorothy is survived by her cherished daughter Vonda, special son-in-law Robert; two precious granddaughters Jennifer and Robyn; loving son Brent; one sister Ann (Dave) Ramage and her extended family, Nicholle, Larry, Sarah and Matthew as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 1994.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev.
