Obituary of Donna Mae Sutherland

Donna Mae Sutherland, beloved wife of Brian, passed away on July 25, 2006 at the age of 64 years. Donna was born on December 3, 1941 in Hanna, AB. She moved to Grande Prairie in 1958 and met her husband to be, Brian, and they married in 1960. They moved to Vegreville in 1965 and then on to Calgary in 1970. Donna and Brian started their own company in 1973, ‘Kimjack’ in which Donna acted as Vice President and CFO until her passing. Donna was a member of the Kinettes in Vegreville and Calgary, she loved curling and was a proud supporter of minor football in Calgary. She loved to watch the chuckwagon races and cheer her family on. Donna touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Besides her loving husband Brian, Donna will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Kim and Jacquie; and her two grandchildren Kyla and Wyatt. She is also survived by her mother Ethel Lind; her brother Ray Schlosser (Dinah); sister-in-law Edna Schlosser; and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna was predeceased by her brother Alvin and her father Cye Schlosser. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday July 31, 2006, at 12:30 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
