Obituary of Mihaly Andrew Ambrus

Mihaly (Mike) Andrew Ambrus, beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Ambrus of Calgary, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at the age of 69 years. Mike was born on October 2, 1936 in Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He married Evelyn MacAvoy on March 6, 1964 and moved to Calgary in 1965. Mike was a dedicated auto body repair man; a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Mike was a proud man – always putting the needs of his family and friends before his own. Besides his loving wife, Evelyn, Mike is survived by a son, Mike Ambrus of Calgary; four daughters, Sue Ambrus of Nova Scotia, Vera Ambrus and her partner, Jamie Carswell, Debbie Ambrus and her partner Lawrence Barnett, and Michelle Ambrus, all of Calgary.
