Christopher Gabriel Pfoh

Obituary of Christopher John Gabriel Pfoh

Born on March 21, 1989 in Calgary, tragically passed away on Thursday, July 20, at the age of 17 years. Chris was the cherished son of Nancy Mills and John Pfoh. He was the loving brother and very best friend to his sisters Robyn Hammer (Pfoh) and husband Mike, Jenna and younger brother Jamie. He will be forever loved and remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends; especially his buddies Jon, Brodie, Logan, Andrew, Peter, Destin, Matt, Twyla, Sarah, Whitney, Vessy, Brenna and Mel. Chris was entering Grade twelve at Bowness High School and Silver Springs was his home community. His greatest passion was keeping fit and active with the many sports he was involved with like football, hockey and rugby. His goal was to move to Australia with his friends after graduation. He loved Australia after his rugby team traveled there in March 2006 when he also celebrated his 17th birthday. Chris’s greatest weakness was fine dining and wanting to spend all of his time with his very special group of friends when he should have been cutting the lawn or cleaning his room. He was kind, sensitive and caring with the biggest heart you could ever imagine. Chris filled every precious moment of his days with fun, friends and family. On behalf of the family, Nancy and John would like to thank the Foothills Hospital Trauma Unit, head nurse Linda and all other hospital staff that helped during that tragic night. We would also like to thank our family and special friends Heather, Charlotte, Sue and Colleen, George and Jeff and all of Chris’s friends for their support and guidance that night. Chris will forever be in our hearts and minds. Heaven must have needed another Angel.
